Formed in bandleader PJ's Bay Area basement studio (known as "The Stu"), Fault Tolerant currently consists of four members: Lance (Boogie), Miles, Salem, and PJ. The band formed in late 2025 as a trio and has been performing around the San Francisco Bay Area ever since, adding vocalist Salem in early 2026. The band is most well-known for putting on "Afternoon in the Pergola", a backyard concert series put on for celebrations and charity. The band is currently in the process of producing their debut full-length record, which is slated to release sometime in late 2026 or early 2027.
